FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™
As Host Country Design Manager, I worked alongside FIFA Brand to guide the conceptual and creative direction of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ brand, developed by Unlock Brands. I was also involved in the creative development and coordination of the Official Poster and Official Mascot.
In parallel, I led the in-house design team and contracted agencies across all Host Country design and brand implementation projects, including brand approvals. My team supported more than 40 functional areas, developing artwork for city dressing, event promotion, campaigns, accreditation, catering, accommodation, the Host Country Media Centre, arrivals and departures, ticketing, mobility, maps and many other tournament requirements.
